Criptomoedas ganham código próprio no Imposto de renda

Declarar criptomoedas no Imposto de Renda (IRPF) pode ser uma tarefa complicada para os marinheiros de primeira viagem.

A dificuldade surge, primeiramente, da falta de código e modelo específicos para declarar essa classe de ativos.

Contudo, esse problema foi resolvido. Por meio de uma coletiva realizada hoje (24), a Receita Federal anunciou três códigos para declarar criptomoedas.

Receita Federal sana dúvidas dos contribuintes

Segundo a coletiva, os criptoativos já eram declarados por meio do código 99 dentro de “Bens e Direitos”.

Os novos códigos estarão ainda dentro da mesma divisão, mas agora se dividirão em três categorias:

“Código 81: criptoativo Bitcoin 0 BTC;

Código 82: outro criptoativos, do tipo moeda digital, conhecidos como altcoins;

Código 89: demais criptoativos, aqueles não considerados criptomoedas.”

Durante a coletiva, os códigos 82 e 89 ganharam exemplos. No caso do código 82, são criptomoedas como XRP, Ethereum, USDT e Chainlink.

Já no caso do código 89 são os tokens, sejam eles security tokens ou utility tokens. Para quem tem B2U Coin, por exemplo, o código a ser utilizado para declarar é o 89.

Com isso, uma das principais dúvidas envolvendo a declaração de criptomoedas à Receita Federal foi sanada.

Diversas críticas já eram feitas ao órgão ao longo dos anos, tendo em vista a cobrança por parte da Receita para declarar os criptoativos, mas a falta de suporte quando o assunto era declarar.

Possivelmente por conta da popularização das criptomoedas ocorrida entre 2020 e 2021, a Receita Federal resolveu dar mais atenção ao tema.

E já era hora. Muito esforço será poupado com essa nova decisão do Leão.
